DR. VIBHUTI GUPTA
Dr. Vibhuti Gupta is a practising Family Physician in Toronto since 2018. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto before moving to England for medical training and residency. She practices full scope family medicine, and has a special interest in dermatology, elderly care and medical education. During the COVID pandemic, she has been working on the front lines at the covid assessment centres and vaccination centres. Outside of medicine, Dr. Gupta is an avid traveller having been to over 15 countries and a fitness enthusiast completing several marathons.
DR. ALIYA HASHAM
Dr. Hasham received a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo before pursuing a medical degree from Chicago Medical School. She then attended residency in Ottawa where she trained with Dr. Hooper. Finally, she completed a fellowship in Low Risk Obstetrics from the University of Toronto. Dr. Hasham has special interests in prenatal care, women's health and pediatrics. After 8 years of delivering babies, she has decided to take a break from the sleepless nights and spend more time with her young family. Outside of medicine, Dr. Hasham also enjoys traveling and swimming.
DR. KATIE HOOPER
Dr. Hooper completed Family Medicine Residency at the University of Ottawa in 2012, receiving Certification from the College of Family Physicians. She will be taking over Dr Allison McGee’s Family Practice as of July 1st 2021 when Dr. McGee leaves the Bedford Family Health Organization to pursue Occupational Medicine. Dr Hooper is passionate about preventative medicine and continuity of care for all genders, throughout the whole spectrum of life-stages, and she believes in evidence-based and comprehensive Family Practice. Outside of medicine, Dr. Hooper enjoys traveling, great food and spending time with her husband and 2 year old twin boys.
DR. NAILA KASSAM
Dr. Naila Kassam has been practicing as a Family Physician in Ontario since 2014. Originally from Vancouver, she completed her Medical Degree at the University of British Columbia before moving to Toronto to for her Family Medicine residency at Women’s College Hospital. Upon graduating, Dr. Kassam practiced in London and the surrounding areas before moving back to Toronto. While in London, she developed an interest in healthcare administration and graduated with an MBA from Ivey Business School. Dr. Kassam’s focus is on delivering full scope preventative medicine and ensuring a shared-decision making process with her patients. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kassam enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and her dog, Lucy.
DR. KAREN GRACE LEE
Dr. Lee began her career in healthcare as a clinical pharmacist at Vancouver General Hospital after receiving her undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. She then returned to school and obtained her medical degree from the University of British Columbia. In 2012, Dr. Lee moved to Toronto and has been practicing full scope Family Medicine since 2014. She believes strongly in evidence-based medicine and preventative care and has an interest in diabetes and men’s health. Dr. Lee’s practice also includes low risk obstetrics at Women's College/Mount Sinai Hospital and fertility medicine with the Natural Conception Program at Hannam Fertility. Outside of medicine, Dr. Lee enjoys baking and gardening.
